Extended version of the Russian Windows keyboard layout (ΙΦΣΚΕΝ); in addition to standard characters, it allows you to enter:
- all characters of the second half of Windows-1251 encoding table
(which includes specifically all letters of the civil Cyrillic alphabets of all Slavic languages);
- all letters of the "old" (previous) Russian spelling: Yat (ѣ), Fita (ѳ), and Izhitsa (ѵ);
- subscript (₁ ₂ ₃ ₄ ₅ ₆ ₇ ₈ ₉ ₀)
and superscript (¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵ ⁶ ⁷ ⁸ ⁹ ⁰) digits;
- combining acute accent, combining grave accent, almost-equal-to sign (≈), multiplication sign (×), and ruble sign (₽).
Additional characters are tied to Russian letters
and are located, if possible, in accordance with the "intuitive" principle.
Thus, this keyboard layout can be comfortable for those who are used to the standard Russian, Ukrainian or Belarusian layout.
